ClaireT Ran the 2nd leg, the long 5.8 mile one. Tough race with a steady continual incline into headwind for the first 3 miles, and lots of twists and turns. Coming back down the hill was much more 'enjoyable'. Lost one place to Fife and gained one from Central, so stayed even on the positions. Pleased with my time, and our team finished 3rd place.

Fat Boy Pleased to be back taking part in a race although my time was much slower than expected. I didn't realise my fitness had dropped so much.

Sunbed Athlete Ran 6th leg of the race for the Vets team for Cambuslang.Took 3rd place but for some strange reason only the 1st placed team in the Vet categories got medals.At a major event in the Scottish Athletics calender the decision baffled not only me but our Coaches too.Still an achievement all the same. Enjoyed the buzz of meeting the guys again some old some new.The race was good.took over a few guys but 1st & 2nd placed guys were too far infront of me to catch.
