Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Saucony Castle Howard 10k Trail Race

Sun June 13 2010
Listed by Dave W
Entrants (5)

PB SB Pred Time WAVA
Doctor K 41 secs faster than last year but felt harder somehow. Had to battle a stitch around 3km and a tight right hamstring. Garmin registered 10.5km for this -about right I reckon.
Bolton United Harriers & AC
58:00 58:32 53.70
Ex-pat Scot 6.50 miles exactly.
Easingwold RC, Serpentine RC
43:30 66.58
Niamhs Dad Enjoyed this run but I don't know why they didn't get us to start a little further up the track so that it was a 'real' 10K distance. According to my watch it was just over 6.5 miles, almost a third of a mile longer then it should have been. Good course though. An alternative would have not to have called it a 10K.
