frizzle Looks a very good run with a technical t-shirt and goody bag for every runner. Can't be bad!!! A fantastic website with pictures of the course!!! Looks like lots of different types of sections on the course!
UPDATE!!!!!!- Thought this was going to be a nice steady run but didn't take into consideration the two hills that really took it out of me!!! (Had to have a couple of little walks which added lots of time)
Some really supportive runners encouraging people. A big thank you to a lady from Haverhill running club who helped me up the last hill!!!! A really nice goody bag with lots of naughty things in like bars of Dairy Milk!!!! He He!! And a simple technical t-shirt which I will actually wear to train in!!!!The good news is that my foot was fine!!!!

Old Man Going to run round with Frizzle and enjoy the scenery as the pictures on the web site suggest a very pretty route
UPDATE Very enjoyable, just outside our predicted time but the multi-terrain and hills meant it was never going to be a fast time. Would make a better training course than race course!! Well pleased with the Ron Hill Technical top as the momento

Hippity 2nd ever 10k race - interesting route with a mix of paved, track, grass and lane running. I'm used to running in Cambridge where there aren't many hills and those there are are quite short, so the last 1.5k of this course was a real killer for me, and i didn't get the sub 1hr I was hoping for.

There were one or two places where it was difficult to overtake and it was a bit congested but on the whole I enjoyed the route (plenty of marshals to guide you round), and the brass band playing Chariots of Fire going up the hill at 9k was a real insentive - cheers guys and gals. Finishers were rewarded with a goody bag containing a technical t-shirt :)
