ChrisU A good run along a mix of hard surface, muddy trails and single track through the woods. Pleased to finish 10th overall, although strangely the 9th placed runner doesn't appear in the results. Also noticed that the 8th and 10th placed runners both missed out 600 metres of the course during the Turbo X Zone! Thereby finishing about 3.5 minutes faster than they should have done.

MountainMasher Fantastic - amazing race and really good fun ! fast paced trails, but wear good shoes for it ideally fell shoes/studs. Salomon speedcross good shoe for it. Loads of folk last year wearing road shoes/trail shoes slippin and slidin ! Good run, but slower than last year due to the longer / slightly different route and also the bogs were a lot deeper and wetter this year :-)
