Konaboy Just staying on my feet was a real effort - very muddy or rutted all the way through. The course covered short sections of the Terminator but in reverse direction. On balance I enjoyed this more than the Terminator even without the water features!! Tried the legendary cakes at the end & was not disappointed. Deserved of its Top 50 place in the recent Runners World ratings - may do it again next year.

Running Fish enjoyable race, conditions were quite easy compared with what could have been if it had been run 24hrs earlier. always difficult to judge pace on this type of terrain, and felt like i had too much left at the end. just scrapped first mv so pleased with that, the quick guys must have been elsewhere.

Em didnt run today so Running Postie suggested enter this on the day and use this instead of a training run on my own. good idea, shame he doesnt listed to himself!!! *** Update*** would have prob managed under 2 hours if I didnt have to stop to get a plaster at 4 miles as my off road shoes had rubbed my heel and gave me a blister, its such a long time since Ive worn them I fogot where they hurt!! Great run, lots of mud and hills, then on the last muddy track on the wat home a branch caught my eye and nocked my contact lense out!!! I managed to keep it but ran the last mile not able to see very well as my sight is so bad I was very blurred with the one eye and couldnt judge the slippy bits so had a walk a lot. A bog thanks to the St Johns Amb who helped me on both occassions. And to RP for driving me there and back and who is now taking me out to dinner for running. well done everyone
