MB99 This should be fun :-) Great race really enjoyed it. Had to stop to tighten shoe lace after a couple of miles, and there was quite a bit of walking after 7 miles as i had trouble with a pain in my stomach muscles which prevented me running. Still loved the race though :-) Back next year. Things I've learnt from this race: Don't bother tightening shoelaces if they're already tight enough. I'm rubbish at running downhill. Do more situps.

Running Fish great race, similar to the terminator, but a bit smaller, and hence a bit more personal. conditions were good, clear skies and moderate wind, only a few places where it was boggy. as with most races of this type it's difficult to judge pace for a first timer. i thought i was working fairly hard, but when i got back onto the tarmac climb near the end my legs felt good, and i finished feeling there was a bit more to give. next year i'll be wiser, (but older).
