Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

About this parkrun

Mar 2012 - One lap on a mixture of paths. Deer sightings common.
njosmith 10th Jan 2019

Single lap, 30% tarmac/30% grass/40% trail path. Undulating! Very narrow start pen. Consistent downhill for 2km to start which you have to make back up...
Also - deer!
iRicey 21st Jan 2019

A single lap, really a parkrun of two halves as the first half is fairly flat on a long straight alongside the road and the second is undulating in woodland. Narrow starting funnel. Public transport: Bus 371 to American University.

Parking via Richmond Gate. Careful of the bicycles if you drive there it's like being in a Zwift course. The parkrun is 1 lap on tarmac, grass and gravel gently undulating and uphill finish. Road shoes are fine. Outdoor cafe options in the park.
Groundhog 16th Apr 2022

One if the hillier parkruns very scenic busy with every possible terrain covered in equal measure.
Foxy 21st Jan 2023

A well organised run.
Narrow and crowded starting funnel: 22:08 "gun" time, vs 21:59 watch time, vs ~21:50 from the start line!
A very nice run on asphalt and gravelled paths: first 2 km mostly downhill (48 m), then mostly uphill (52 m)!

In the world famous Richmond Park. Parkrun of two halves. Out in woodland. Back on grass. Or is it other way round.
