Kieren First outing at RPTT and a chilly start to the day. An undulating course that really sapped all my strength at the first gradient. Room for recovery on the descents though and not as slow (compared to BPTT) as I would have thought. Enjoyed the run, placed 9th and might make this a feature as I think the undulations should strengthen me up a bit for cross country. Aerobic base is better than it's ever been but Lactate Threshold is poor. Hoping to keep building the aerobic base till next year, then work on LT which *should* see a huge boost on times

Kirsty I made a very unauspicious start to the first ever RPTT by arriving late and missing the start! However I managed to catch up and overtake 11 people. This was the time on my watch, if I had started at the right time and run this fast i would have been 2nd lady. Oh well...... back to BPTT next week for me I think!
