About this parkrun
As per the other reviews, but there's also a convenient (if you are a MH&CC Member) caravan Club site within 500m of the Finish! And they have really good showers.... 3M 18th Dec 2019
A mostly flat route 3 times round the lake. On a cold and frosty day, the path is firm, but after rain it is muddy and can be slippery. A friendly event with a nice cafe at the end of the route. Worth a visit.

Pretty park, 3 loops round the lakes. It's flat but the surface has got worse over the years. I took a tumble last time I did it and it seems there are fallers most weeks. No plans to do it again until the surface is patched up.

A cold and frosty day but good wide paths and very managed with the ice. Felt safe as long as you used your common sense.

3 laps round a beautiful lake. Mostly flat and good paths. Lovely cafe and toilets at the finish line.

Taxi ride from central Chesterfield £11.50 each way. 3 laps of a country park that used to be a colliery - flat fast gravel 3 lap course. Narrow start & people lining up in “optimistic” areas !! Very friendly.

Scenic 3 lapper around the lake all on compacted stone paths. Free carparking ,toilets & cafe adjacent to the finish area , The start is 300m away
