Peasemore Festival 5 Mile Challenge

Club		 PB SB Pred Time WAVA
Agent Orange Recorded the official time. Watch time was 35.05. Very hilly course so extremely pleased to set a PB (even if 6 seconds quicker would have been much better). Really nice event and good conditions. Ran 1st mile mainly downhill in 6.37 then 7.17 for uphill second mile. 7.14 for third mile mainly uphill. 7.06 for fourth mile. Just couldn't manage 6.45 for last mile to beat 35 mins. But 40th place out of a couple of hundred runners was pretty pleasing. Good to see Brett, who turned out to be the person who gave me a target to chase up the big hills.

Capricorn Ow that hurt ! I'm not used to short, fast races. PB by almost a minute, so I'm pleased. Great race, superb organisation.

Heavyweight What a charming setting & race. Really enjoyed it although it was a bit undulating for a really fast time. Managed a small PB, thought I was working hard but was regularly passed all the way round. Very hard to pace correctly when the first mile is all down-hill. Splits 6:52 7:32 7:33 7:42 7:17
