Lethargic 7th overall . splits, 5.30 - 5.30 - 5.28 - 5.36 - 5.01. crappy start & took 1k to get into it, a pb by 36secs.
Flat & fast course, always windy, good practice for my next two races at the same venue, Notts10 & GP Heritage.

SPKoF woo hoo - new pb. very tired for last mile but still did 5:57. sub 30 might have been on if it hadn't been the 3rd race in 4 days.

Trehis Best time in a five miler for years, so very pleased with that even though it was a flat course but finished in 83rd place.

Beezgirl Fairly pleased with this effort. 7th lady overall and a 2 minute improvement on last year's time. I was in 5 th position until mile 4 when a lady overtook me who I had no chance of catching, but with 200 metres to go, another lady overtook and as I was suffering with horrendous stitch, I could not respond, so a bit disappointed. So two lessons learned tonight: 1. I need to not eat my own body weight in food for lunch before an evening race and 2. I need to lose this extra stone that I am carrying around at the moment..

CC2 Speedy Goth PW I think, and my worst SL finishing position ever. To be expected after the string of injuries in March/April and considering I've had larygitis for about 10 days and haven't run at all. I was dying at the end, but did provide an excellent example of a negative split - 7.58, 7.26, 7.20, 7.21, 6.51 (plus 18 seconds - I got the course to be a tiny bit long but started my watch when we started moving rather than at the line). My watch gave me 37.16 but I heard them say '22' as I crossed the line. I never heard the start gun so that would account for the delay.

Vickyy Unfortunately just missed out on my predicted time. Enjoyed the course and finished second out of the ladies at the club so pleased with that, considering only just really back to running after 8 weeks out.
However it is a PB, albeit by about 30 seconds, but a PB is a PB

rollerman Was not sure how this one was going to go, really want to be raceing at 7.5mm but struggle to do that, so 8mm is do able.
Well avg of 7m 45s seems very good and possibly at about 80% effort, well pleased with that one.
