Ally2 Entry on the day. Fancy a carve up. A sub 27min PB, so mission accomplished. Ran good race, did not try to go with the top 6 in the first mile but hung back. It meant I was on my own from 1k but kept it together along a twisty and part grass course. Was nowhere near 6th place and 8th was way behind (guy who beat me at rushcliffe 4mile). missed all 4 mile markers, did not see one blinking marker, so pleased with pace. Came 7th and won a 20 piece dinner set. 1 second better.

fetcheveryone YFKI! Pleased with the overall time, but the splits tell a very clear story. 6.59, 7.20, 7.33, 7.42, 7.33 - I got way too excited early on, and was totally shagged out by the end. But still, it's a PB, and on par with where I'd got to last September - so another month or two of speedwork should sharpen me up nicely.

Racin Snail Pleased. I had my plan and stuck to it even when people i would normally go with pulled away from me and i think i reaped the benefits towards the end where i felt very strong and could have gone quicker:-) My 3rd consecutive sub 30 and i wasn't even bothered about the time plus my legs were still aching from Wed nights killer session...all bodes very well for Huncote:-):-)

Super Norts Ran really well managed to race in a group of a couple of Notts ac lads and Yates from Redhill i was pleased as i was running at the front of this group just about throughout not tucked into the back hanging on. Couldnt of ran any quicker though.

Trehis A minute slower than my best this year but felt good which is important following a cold, flat course with lots of sharp turns and three 200 metre stretches of grass.
