paul the builder I shouldn't have even tried for 3h on that course on that day. There's some unpleasant hills in the first half, and it was a warm and humid day, and I should have had the wit to change the plan to 3:05 before I even started. It's also quite lonely - c. 250 finishers, 12th position, only 4 sub-3. It's very well-organised and well-supported for a small event though.

Rodders I will be running Belfast 3 weeks before this so if I make it to the start line of this one I will be happy to get under 3:30. A tough first half which took it's toll on me and I struggled from mile 17 in this one. Happy enough so soon after Belfast to get under 3:20.
