About this parkrun

Great course! Hilly, 105m elevation. Superb views and deer roaming round. One lap, rocky trail, grass, tarmac. Uphill start. Huge carpark.

Wow.. by far the toughest parkrun I've done to date, but so recommended- amazing views. Single lap with a stinking uphill start and a slow uphill slog to end, but you MUST do this one! Easy parking, wear trail shoes if you own them!

Hilly, all trail course around a NT site (trail shoes recommended). Single lap, 107m elevation gain.

One of the toughest but most picturesque parkruns in the North West. Lots of hills, grassy paths, a run by the cage and fabulous views on a fine day.

Hilly trail route around the beautiful Lyme Park. It’s not easy: the steep uphill start is cruel & the rough downhill great fun. Almost a mini fell race. One I regularly revisit, & out of the 140ish parkruns I’ve visited it is probably my favourite.

Very hilly trail run (trail shoes). Big hill to start with, and some more big hills both up and down. Very scenic (in good weather, I imagine).

Very Hilly course but amazing view from the top. Alternative course as it was very icy so out and back with small loop around the tower at the top of the hill. Trail shoes necessary. Lots of parking and toilets are near the start. Loved it.

Tough but beautiful, great views at the top and finishes with a cheeky uphill!

One lap hilly trail route in a magnificent National Trust site. Plenty of parking near the start as well as loos and a cafe. Some of the downhill sections can be a bit technical, ie easy to trip up on the surface. one of the toughest in the NW.

A hilly run around a gorgeous National Trust park. Start at the bottom of a step hill and it does not get any easier!
