Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ultracat unofficial time. entered on the day. cold, windy and wet. First 3k all uphill and tough, then at 7k to 8k it was along a very muddy farm track, so not a fast course. Enjoyed the run and temperature seemed perfect once you got running. Lovely to meet a couple of fellow fetchies in Jaggy and Cotty.

Jaffers This is a tough race, but I feel in good shape. It's not really a pb course, but it'll get the year off to a good start.
Update: Good race in tough conditions and a tough course. Good to catch up with some fellow Fetchies and a few other folk too - lots up from Serpentine. Officially joint 22nd of 296 - not too bad, but room to improve in coming years!

Haggis Really sorry to all those who bet on me - very nearly a PW to start the year! :(

Not a course for a PB, not brilliant weather, but I would certainly do this again.

I felt very heavy and bloated all the way round, only good point would be that this may have been the nadir I've needed to kick start some serious changes in 2008.

mags What a day for a run, was blowing a gale last night and raining horizontally. haven t trained particularly just been doing maintenance runs but was desperate to get 50 minutes as it is the first 10k I ve done for ages. Was really tough, bombed it up the hill and at 2K regretted it but managed to keep my pace at 5mins /k so knew if I just kept going I could do it but my God it was hard for me. Am sooo chuffed a PB for me. Loved the mud:)

Cotty67 Think will find it hard, up this morning full on head cold, blowing a howlie outside, do I do it or not? Nearly didn't go at all, but good turn out, really enjoyed although hard work and the soup afterwards was delicious. Saw Happycat and met Jeffers.
