Loch Leven parkrun

About this parkrun

Small lap and two big laps (800/2100m) on narrow trails, mostly smooth, stonier section, runnable grass to side. Semi-flat. Lovely setting, don't see views in-run much which is round two fields. Quality cafe. Not rushing back, location > course.

LL Parkrun starts and finishes at the Loch Leven Larder. A cafe and upmarket gift shop a few miles outside Kinross, the nearest town. It’s three laps on gravel paths. Undulating, not hilly. With great views, it could also be exposed and windy

Two-and-a-half sloping laps, clockwise. Starting with a mini-lap, uphill initially, then the long descent towards the loch. Great cafe and farm-shop for non-runners too. Easy to add a lap of the loch too (13 miles) if it's one of those Saturdays.

Lovely location. Great shop n cafe (and full restaurant actually!) Route isn't actually much by the Loch, but you get the view. 2.5 laps of good packed trail, quite narrow and a bit rocky so tough for buggies. A bit of an incline, but not much! G

Two and a half laps on compacted trail. Slight hills nowt serious. Toilets and cafeteria in Loch Leven Larder.
