Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

-caz- Hoping to do another 50min 10km this weekend, lack of training still hampered with knee & back problems. Fingers crossed I finish this, only 4 weeks till Chicago (oh no)

Also having to break in new trainers since my old Nike Vomero's were sent back to Nike with a sole problem.

Ended up enjoying todays run, even if the weather was horrendous. Managed to go sub 50min so I cannot complain. Another well organised event.

Boab Placed 8th out of 480 finishers. Torrential rain and slippy under foot made this hilly course tough today, but very pleased with a new PB and delighted to go under 35 minutes. Also was good to meet jp105, who was closely following me nearly all the way, although I am sure it is only a matter of time before it is the other way around!!! The real star of the day was Mrs Boab: Off of only about 10 or 12 miles a week has smashed 2 minutes off her 10K PB to 51:00

Ellem First race back after injury and a PB - previous best 10KM was 51.26. Poured with rain all day - but who cares - wet but happy. Fairly hilly race but great organisation and friendlypeople.

jp105 Very well organised race, very wet day but since it is local I had a lot of support on the way round. Was pleased to lower my P.B! Very nice to meet BOAB after the race. He passed me at 2K and ended up with a 40s advantage at the end which was excellent! I WILL narrow this down at the Aviemore half marathon!
The course is ideal for P.Bs - really quick final 2K and the hills are short. Also was playing a gig last night in Bathgate - (Atomic) - (Blondie tribute band) and someone recognised me from the race! Also got a shout out from singer Claire AKA Debbie Harry.
