Alun Started out okay, my right knee felt good and I felt fairly sharp after not much running recently but I started to struggle after around 5km due to a lack of fitness. My knee started to feel uncomfortable so I slowed down, this caused extra load on my left achilles which became very uncomfortable. Lost around 50-60 places on the final lap and hanging on at the end, Waiting on the results of Wednesday's physiotherapy appointment to determine the severity of the knee injury and the next steps. Can't see me racing again this year at the moment...
