Alun 4th Kent Fitness League cross country match at Avery Hill Park. Fast, mostly flat, grassy course with a few sharp climbs and muddy sections , pretty much perfect conditions apart from a blustery westerly breeze affecting the lower half of the circuits. Went off a bit hard before easing into a steadier rhythm for miles 2 and 3, slowed in miles 4 and 5 but managed to maintain my position by nicking a few places as well as losing a few... Hard work but great fun, races 5 and 6 coming up over the next two Sundays!
