Jimbo This was my first run in anger since the London Marathon. So after struggling with injury for the last 2 months I was pleased to just get round in one piece. The time was 2 minutes slower than last year, but I was never bothered about the time. The extreme heat would have prevented any type of PB even if I was in good shape. Once again the food & drink after the race made it yet another fantastic JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge.

MB99 Ran as a fun run and thoroughly enjoyed it. Ankle was fine all the way round, and quite pleased with my time considering the crowds etc. Bloody hot though!!!

Treacle HOT! Unbelievably so. But didn't seem as pushy and shovy as previous years - only one person who seemed to think I belonged in the barrier - maybe cos I was running quicker? Pleased with performance given the heat - heart rate was way up for the pace I was running - by about 15bpm - so couldn't have gone any faster without exploding! Enjoyed it - especially the raided burgers from the Deutsche Bank tent afterwards:-)
