CB. hot and Crowded. Had to start towards the back thanks to boss and 'last minute report'. Still given that I hadnt been able to run for the past week and am under physio guidance,not bad.

little brown bag Very hot, and very crowded around Battersea Park - approx 13000 people today.. Bottle necked a few times where you had to walk. Nice flat route however, with lots of entertainment afterwards. Well worth doing next year if you work for a company who will enter a team

mystique100 The route itself, apart from the end was okay. Though there needs to be some improvements: (1) better/more emphasis placed on the runners to be realistic about their predicted pace so that they are appropriately placed at the start of the race. (2) Those who prefer or need to walk part way through the course should be advised/ushered to walk either on the left or right.This would prevent unnecessary congestion during many parts of the race, including the run-up to the finish line! At several stages through out the race I felt that 24mins or there abouts would be possible if I could dodge my way through the congestion. Just over the 4K stage I realised that this would be very difficult even with a clear run for the remaining 2.5K. This was the first time I had run this race and may think twice about running it next year. From now on I will aim to start a run/race nearer the front so that congestion is not a major problem. I would definitely recommend this race for fun runners, though for serious runners that want to race and/or improve their time then start as far up the field as possible.

PhatButFit Blimey, what a first race. Very congested at the start and very, very hot. I reckon I could have gone quicker if I hadn't had to dodge many, many people who had overestimated their ability and started at the front but hey, I'm a novice at this race business so I was very happy to get round in a respectable time. Great atmosphere and, in my opinion, very well organised.
