Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

ClaireT Absolutely delighted with my time, a minute faster than predicted and second lady over the line! The course was pretty kind to us after a few notable hills in the first few miles, but it was made quite a bit tougher with the strong headwinds, rain showers and mugginess especially in the second half. But it was fantastically locally organised, a lovely wee low-key event and really friendly atmosphere. Well worth the trip.

bedlam_g Survived the Islay Half with a big PB and without further calf problems. So unless I drown or catch pneumonia in my soggy dog infested tent in Islay I would hope to be able to go under 1.30 on the flatter faster course in Mull.
*update*
another goal achieved - a sub 1.30 half. it was a tougher course than i'd been promised. so after a few weeks of messed up training and a week after islay i'm absolutely delighted. thanks for all the bets and messages.

Llamadance Am unsure how I'll do after my sporadic training this year, but I should do ok. Sub1:40 would be great I think and put me well ahead of where I was this time last year.

*update* haha, a new PB. Pacing all over the place and was on for 1:35 at 10 miles, but faded into the wind. got to be happy though, especially as Mull is more undulating than Lochaber HM. Legs tired, but very pleased. Congrats to the one person who had a flutter on me.
