podrunner Have been persuaded to do this at short notice (2 days) on a run and walk basis. Planning to walk up the hills to conserve energy and basically be able to finish, will save the running for the flats and downhills. Not a clue what my finish time might be but hopefully somewhere between 8 and 9 hours. Never ran over the marathon distance but with no pressure to do a certain time i'm looking forward to it.

Mozzer I'm really looking forward to this one, my first ultra in a wonderful setting. I haven't got a clue what my time will be, if all goes well I hope I'll get close to 8hours 30mins but we'll see.. I'm planning on running where its flat or downhill and walking the steep inclines.
