Baza Not hoping for too much as I've got a weeding reception the evening before. *Update* Think I'll just write this race off, felt crap from 2k, bad patch at 6 & 7, picked up for the last 3. It was never going to be a fast one after the wedding reception so I'll leave it at that.

Fae Fife I thought the whole point of changing the course was to prevent the shambles at the end when the 4k runners finish at the same time as the 10k runners - it was worse than ever!! Not fair on both the fun runners (who are trying not to get in anyone's way) or the 10k runners (who are trying not to knock over 7 yr old kids or have to run round father and kid running hand in hand). Medal was okay but has anyone got any ink left on their yellow ribbon or is it just me that has it all over my neck and hands?

HappyG(rrr) Watch time 39:55. Hoping it might be a smidge lower. If so, first time sub 40. Woohoo! Tricky course - long, gradual inclines. Had to push hard to maintain pace and then on downhills to make back time lost. Fingers crossed for the sub 40! *Update - chip timing website says 39:42. (thanks Tigger!) - I'll go with that! * :-)G
