Sunbed Athlete Got 2nd place with a new PB. Took over 5mins off my time from last years race.

Gokeith really struggled after 2miles with a stitch which lasted til 5miles then got another at 9miles,had to ease off a bit so not quite as quick as had hoped for but still an enjoyable run(but painfull) had good results all round for our club and many fantastic p.bs and plenty of prizes picked up in all categories so a good day out

hannkies Really chuffed with pb, great undulating course, first time under 80 minutes. Finished 5th in race, also 1st team, and picked up the bronze medal for being 3rd Ayrshire athlete, so over the moon. Our club had 5 runners under 80 minutes, and 13 under 90, as well as loads of pb's, so training hard seems to be paying off !

Running Beans Done some training for this race and felt that it went well felt loads better throughout the race and at the end more over than I did at the Great Cumbrian Half; although I did have periods where I struggled as the course was very undulating to say the least, and my time is loads faster, but then I did train for this one. Very happy with the time even though It is not my fastes half, just missed out on a medal for the team by one place. Over all a great day for the club with many PB's acheived well done guys

The Belly Is Gaun Tae Get Ye Great course, however did 4m before start, and ran as marathon paced run, hills took their toll and slowed down to long run training pace. Still had a bit left for a fast (for me) last mile so their must be someting in the old legs. Will be back.
