Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

davie y Hated it. high winds and heat is something i cant deal with. This is my p.b. course from 2 years ago and was nearly 4 mins outside that time. Worst 10 k race ever for me

Debstir 53:56 watch time - and I'm sticking wth it! Bit disappointed with time after last Sunday's 10k result but I couldn't have run any harder in the 2nd half - that wind was horrendous. Almost wanted to stop & walk on more than one occassion, so I'm glad just to have kept going.

Gogsy! Really went for the PB today & had 3 consecutive sub 8 minute miles at the start ... then the wheels fell off the bus. I didn't cope at all well into the strong wind but I'm not making excuses - I don't think the legs turned up today, anyway. Smashing wee course through the countryside & probably the most useful momento I'm ever likely to get - an engraved whisky glass!

mrs shanksi Nice race, reminded me of Garioch 10k. Start in wee town then run through countryside for a bit. Wind was nice when is was behind us then awful after when it was trying to push us over. Pleased to get sub 50 on a hot, windy day.

redrunning a very windy day - I was actually blown sideways on this race at one point.

Still a good turn out and well organised.

Ultracat garmin says I ran 6.3 miles, anyway went well til halfway and then we turned this corner and felt as though I was running backwards and felt like I was being blown off my feet, yep the wind was really really strong and hell to run into, slowed over a min per mile. splits were 9.02,8.52,8.36, 9.34, 10.08, 10.01 and 2.44 for the last wee bit. Nice wee course shame about the wind.
