Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

compo Just looking forward to doing the distance - be nice to be able to do this routinely. Looking forward t the trail aspect in contrast to the old tarmac.
Time given here is chip to gun. Garmin time in training log is more accurate.

sluggett Brill race. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The first 7-8 miles not so bad as I thought. All that hill training definitely paid off today. Pleased with my time as this is not a PB course.

The Plod Ran a 5k race the day before and my legs were very tired in the last 3 miles. Rain was heavy. I found this hard as I had not done the distance in training to do 13 miles justice.

treetop This was hard work. Uphill for about 7 miles then downhill to the finish. Hadn't done enough training so legs weren't up to the job. Disturbing end to the race with one runner clearly needing the paramedics. I really hope he is OK.

tulip First half marathon in a long time and not feeling too confident. Just trying to get round will be the aim I think, and if I can do it without walking all the better (but that's a tall order). Looking forward to the downhill finish!!
This was very hard and I only just managed to complete the distance.... won't be doing this one again! Still, good exercise I suppose.
