Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Chubbz A hilly race. The 1st 5 miles was quite hilly with a bit of a killer at the end. Was quite windy aswell. A race for more serious runners as I finished in the bottom 50 and felt my time wasn't too bad.
I comfortable distance and thoroughly enjoyed it

DeeGee I set an ambitious target of 1.12. I would actually have been happy with just going under 1:15, given the shortage of sleep I had. In the end, I'm really happy with this performance, really enjoyed the race - despite the arctic conditions and will be back next year to beat this PB.

Marty McFly Great race - though slower on way out and way back than last year. Really shows the difference you get from running with the club more frequently. (as I did in Nov 2008 - Jan 09)
Super organisation and marshall support - I'll be back sharper and fitter next year!

mikep set off looking for a 1:14, another recovery fron injury / marathon training run. The first half is tough - about 3.5 miles are up hill. Got ther in about 37 minutes and decided to have a bit of a go in the second half. Ran out of steam on the uphill run in but more than happy with time . More than 3 mnutes faster than last year.
