About this parkrun
I like this. A bit far for most weeks, but worth going back. Good mixture of scenery, decent underfoot (a mixture of trail and tarmac), not too hilly, not pancake flat either, nor excessive repetition.PK 28th Jun 2019
Two loop figure of eight course, a few undulations, can be muddy if wet, mixture of tarmac and rough paths. Toilets open at 0900.

Everything a parkrun should be, and in an actual park. Scenic, friendly, mostly on good trail paths. Free parking, with toilets and a café at the visitor centre.

“Undulating” including a sharp spike you do twice. Interesting single lap figure 8 course with mixed surface. Trail shoes if not dry. Narrows after the start so worth pushing yourself for position early on if looking for a swift run. Great welcome.
