detritus21 Felt I ran well tonight. Splits of 3:21 3:21 3:42 3:27 3:28 or there abouts.

AllyB wooohooo...I just went for it tonight..just ran on how I felt and kept pushing myself to keep going. First race since marathon and knocked 45 secs off my PB... bring on some more...next up, 10k on Sunday! Was gasping for some water after the race though and there was none available...so I had to stagger all the way to the car. Not very good.

Sandpitt Don't know the course but not sure if I'll better my first 5k time at Christleton UPDATE: Chuffed to run virtually the same time as Christleton but still gonna take it as a pb even if it was by the tightest of margins!.....Correction official result is 1 second outside my pb!

green stripey lady a slower course than my recent outing at christleton so this could be a difficult target. and it was - JOL was off like a demon - great running! i slowed on the middle k and perked up for the last 2, caught a few but didn't quite scrape under 21. bit of a mix up at the finish, will keep running through the tapes next time

jolguk Only 6 seconds away from my PB, a standard which seemed impossible last year, so I'm happy with that! Gllad Green Stripey Lady and I set a target beforehand. A hard course, though, that long slow hill 3 times. Hopeful of an actual PB at Hollins Green or Bowden.
