Fitguy Wow, beat my old PB by 3mins and came 1st in the 60+ (Vintage!!!) category. Perfect day, and lovely start with the downhill for the 1st 7 miles. Then the HILL at mile 8 & I struggled for next mile. Got it back together for the finish (I think!). If I'm Vintage, do I get better with age (or aches?)

Mr Skinny Quick start with 1-8 miles mostly downhill and breeze behind, however the 2nd half of the course was a different matter altogether! The last 5 miles were tough - uphill and into the wind, and I slowed down alot. Still, the hip wasn't too bad so that was a relief.

nearly there I HATE HILLS - but really pleased with time, knocked 4:30mins off previous best. was going really well till i got to the 8 mile mark and that hill, took the wind right out me sails. Well organised race as usual;
