Middler Brilliant - not as hilly as some of the other courses but for some reason more draining. Tough going on hilly sections as it was v muddy. Couldn't quite catch Mrs Ivanhoe Runner in front, even though I really tried, she came in about 5 secs ahead of me. Well done that woman (it was her first xc race too).

sLickster Due to illness will now marshall at the event. UPDATE: Was meant to marshall as have been ill for 4 days then done easy runs the last two days (and ate loads and drank a couple of bottles of the fizzy stuff last night), but we were short of runners and not short of marshalls so did the race. Took it particularly easy apart from (as usual) up the hills. 71st and 4th counter (of 8) for the team. Good to meet and have Pabsey running his first race as 2nd claim for the Harriers.
