daz1927 First attempt at sub-40. Gutted to miss out. I suppose giving blodd the day before didn't help. Plus lapping of the slower runners didn't help. Why do they have to run/walk 3 or 4 abreast on the thin paths and the footbridge, and then look at you stupid when you shout them that you're approaching and to get out of the way?

smash Unlikely to PB here, although IF I can go at my best pace and IF I can keep it up for the distance I MAY sneak under my PB. We'll see. *UPDATE* this race has been postponed until 18th feb.*UPDATE* Well what a result! Woke up with a sore froat and cold, jogged to start and then was enticed by the atmosphere. Lined up, set off, and used other runners as targets to keep myself going. The result was a PB...why don't I bet on myself?!
