Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

BDR With absolutely no training for this one I didn't expect anything. Too hot and too hilly for my liking, but it has spurred me on to get racing/training again. I also heard a rumour that it was a little bit long at 6.63 miles...

Mr BDR A really hilly course, which made a good time tough. I did manage to finish 15th overall though!!!
My Km splits were: 5:03, 3:18, 4:39, 4:52, 4:06, 5:04, 4:50, 5:12, 4:26, 4:37 (I think the markers were in the wrong places sometimes).

JJ Flash Really enjoyed this race. Should have clocked a below 45 minute time, following my Garmin for pace, but it says I ran 6.63 miles - so ikt misled me. Really happy with the time and the morning, and If I have read the report right, I probably finished right in front of MrBDR cos a marshall told me I was 14th as i approached the funnel!

If so, it was nice to meet you!

Jo-bee This was my first ever race. I started road running in June 2007, previously I had only run in the gym and never for more than 45 mins max. I found this race very difficult as it was very hilly and some rough and stony terrain which I had never run on before. However, the feeling at the end was great and ever since then I have been running 3-4 times a week and have recently quit the gym!
