Bushy Park Time Trial

Gobi We started even further back so I measured the course and it came out .1 of a K long. The idea was to pace tmw but after 2K it was apparent that last weeks efforts were still with him. I caught BalhamBouncer and ran him in as he was chasing 18:30. Overall I was very comfy and covered the last 2ks very quickly which was encouraging but I was happy not to have run flat out and to find this pace very relaxing.

Caterpillar Ran 10 miles a couple of days ago, so was not up for a fast one. Having said that, my time was 19:44. This is my second best time (only six measly seconds behind a PB) and the best on the new longer course, but worst ever finishing position - 53rd. More fast runners this time. My times are all very close together. Need more miles to crack 19:30. I set off at Gobi pace for the first 1.5k. This isn't my optimal strategy, so probably wrecked me for the mid section where I normally do the work.

MadRobby Didn't have my stop watch or heart meter with me today - so wasn't sure how I'd done. Was pleasantly surprised when the results came out on the website - knocked 22 secs of my PB !
