milemonster This year (2013) I clocked the course a bit longer because I think at the start we started a bit further back. I did a 5.20 pace overall. The sprint finish against Brendon was exciting, especially since I out sprinted him. He was sneaking up quitely so I was glad that Becky and Karla shouted and cheered near the end. I came third overall behind Dave Mountford and Lee Jones. The use of the extra room in the 6th Form Colleague was very welcome this year especially due to the cold weather. After the race we went to Birkenhead Park for a walk and to Arrow Park for a Hot Chocolate. 2011 comments: I came third which equals my highest position in this League. 5.5 miles altogether in 29:23. 5:26 pace
