Flat Out Fi A v icy and snow xc race this morning!!! A slight change in the course so we didnt have to run over an icy road right at the start!! A great turnout by both male and female Striders for the v last race! I came 3rd today, couldnt keep with Kathryn C who was on fire from the start! 2nd was Natasha also running for Stortford today. Felt I held back a bit too much on the icy downhills and dodgy road bits - oh well, at least Im still in one piece! I dont think any Striders fell over today! That was the last race in the series and we were delighted to come 2nd in the ladies overall (B/S were 1st). The men came 1st overall and we have regained the overall trophy for the team event too so thats great!! :o))

Vicksta Not feeling 100% after a bug on Thursday, really felt weak up the hills which was reflected in my positon (14th). Despite that I enjoyed the run on the snow and ice, and came 2nd for club, with a couple of our faster ladies missing.
