Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Cazros I've not been training too hard over the past few weeks, so only had a vague sub-8 minute mile goal in mind. Just managed that (had a dreadful stich in mile 7, which slowed me down a fair bit) but now wished i'd pushed a bit harder - came way higher up the rankings than expected. I know there were fewer runners than at the April showing, but it's enough to keep me at the 8 rather than 16 mile distance to see if I can get higher!

Lovely day for it - great organisation and friendly atmosphere. Just wish I didn't have to get up quite so early.....

McGoohan Not sure I'll be doing this yet. Got to see if I can a) get this past my wife & b) get my entry in before cut-off.
*UPDATE* Well, I got there alright (had to get up at 4:40 am) and apart from mucking up a bit at water stations, (energy drinks - bleargh) I ran a pretty good race (for me). Slightly sub 8m/m across the whole thing which is a bit of a first for me over such a distance.
Also met some more Fetchies. Pretty damn fine day really, plus I have a good traget for next time don't I?

Kimberlina Good race, lovely weather. Beat my predicted time so am very happy about that. Felt much easier than last weeks 10K. Was great to meet McGoohan and John L too.
