Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Cazros Recovering from a bad cold this week and 2x20 miles training runs within the previous 7 days was always going to make this tough and i felt rough for most of the first 10 miles. Picked up in the second, helped by the sunshine and thinning of the crowd (almost tripped 3 times due to over-eager runners behind using me as a windshield....) but couldn't quite beat last October's time. Good, flat course and ideal as FLM prep but road sections overcrowded and dull - not sure i'll make it back in Oct.....

Fishface Part of FLM training - all OK and went to plan. Paced around 8:30min/miles after the bottlenecks of first 3 miles had gone.

GAZGIB Started off slowly to avoid aggrevating piriformis but this was aching by 3 miles. At 10 miles both hip flexors went and it was painful to get any knee lift.

Jimbo This was my second race over this course after a 2:01:33 finish back in October '05. My goal was to break 2 hours and I smashed it to bits. I averaged 7:09 for each mile and came home in an unbelieveable 1:54:56. My stop watch time was another 18 seconds faster than the offical time, which gives me a real confidence boost with London only 3 weeks away.

Sir Moses Hill Didn't feel great on this one and struggled on the second lap but loved getting home and showered by lunchtime after a 16-mile race.
