hannkies Worst race of the year for me, got wee cold, but no excuses. Minute and a half slower than last year. Last race for a bit + had a good year so far, but my good clubmate-Wile Coyote - reckons I may be overcooking it a bit . He probably has a point,and will now concentrate on my NYC maraton training for now.

bedlam_g A new race and distance for me. If all goes well I would like to do it in about 1.11. “Water, water, everywhere, nor any drop to drink”, kept running through my head as I ran around the island with the hot sun belting down and a constant view of the sea. Wakened up with the start of a bad cold, I don’t know if it affected me or not but the sun beating down all the way round certainly did. Did my best and I’m content with my time 1.14.18.
