Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Agent Orange After worrying about the weather it turned out to be a perfect day for running - relatively still, sunny and crisp. Started brightly then found a nice steady pace, reaching half way in 22.46. Carried on the good work in the second half. Slowed a bit in the eighth kilometre but used this to spur me on in the last two. Managed a great finish (by my standards:-) to complete the second half in 23.03. This means I've improved by exactly 2 minutes over the last year. Met lots of nice Fetchies - Lorraine, Adrian, Gogster/Grinchster. A top way to finish the racing year. 135th place out of 412.

Gogeroo Got a place through someone who's pulled out!!
UPDATE:
Coldest race of the year so far, but as soon as the race got going I warmed up nicely. A great flat course with a out and back (but a wee loop round RAF Weston On the Green bit tagged on). My left knee has been giving me problems but held out today and carried me to a new P.B
UPDATE:
Official details are in and despite telling the organisers of the number/name change, I still came in at 10th senior lady!! not bad for a 33 yr old bloke...maybe I should run in a 30yr old east german vest from now on?

PlodderRW Probable clock time, took about 10s to cross the start but no exact watch time as lent Tim my digital watch to go for PB. Very cold, t-shirt and shorts, long-sleeves would prob have been OK. Paced about 4.40/ 4.45/ 4.55/ 4.55/ 4.45/ 4.45/ 4.50/ 4.50/ 4.50/ 4.45. Tim PBed!
