hillstrider On the whole, well organised for the first holding of the marathon for over 30 years. The course was more undulating than expected, and I was surprised that total elevation gain was 730 feet. Spectator support was very good, especially in the final run up to the finish. Only one gel station, but I didn't need any. The course was long according to many Garmins, mine registered 26.46.
