Any advice on the cone of shame phase. She has a habit of bounding over the backs of sofas etc. Are we going to have to crate her?

She's back and is having fun trying to remove the cone of shame.

Seems she managed to charm everyone at the vet hospital, including at least one vet who wasn't even treating her. She's such a flirt.

No advice sorry, arlo has never needed one so far. (That's changing after tomorrow as he is in for the snip).

Our inlaws have a soft cone which we are borrowing. If that doesn't work, we'll probably stick his drying robe on him.

We got an inflatable cone thing for Toffee after a recent op. He could reach slightly where he shouldn't so it got used during the day when I could keep an eye on him, cone went back on at night.

Think it was about £15 from pets at home.

His crate is his safe place as a nervous chap, we struggled to get him out of it when he was feeling most sorry for himself! Hope all dogs recover well!

The round the neck thing looks good, but I suspect she'd still be able to reach round it to her eyes.

Had a late night waiting for her to sleep (had to hold her chew toy for her, so she could chew herself to sleep. Then she woke up (probably a bit hungry, so had to give her a bit of turkey). Finally asleep sometime after midnight.

Thankfully OH is off work all this week to keep an eye on her.

Rory has to have a blood test on Friday. I’m less than convinced that he’s going to tolerate it.

Got a FaceTime call scheduled this evening with a cockapoo breeder. Cue much excitement in our house!

We’ve done as much checking as we can and there are no “puppy farm” flags at this stage.

Lovely email sent back replying to our enquiry, and all the medical test reports from both parents.
