We haven't been camping yet with Murphy our (11month) Labrador. He tends to bark at people walking past the house so I'm worried he'd be barking all the time with the proximity of other tents.

That and his obsession with footballs.

Going to a race in Scotland in May and camping there the night of it. Hadn't though about anything like that.

Also hadn't thought about him barking if people go past the tent. Might be an interesting night.

Biscuit has recently taken to barking at the window if anyone walks past, even on the other side of the street.
If they have a dog with them, he goes loopy with growling and barking.
It's driving me mad and already cost new net curtains.
He also barks in the garden if next door or their dog are out in theirs. We've had to take him out on the lead for post-8pm wees so we can make him come back in if he barks.

It's a good job he's cute sometimes too. And he's poorly at the moment: cut his mouth on a stick earlier so is feeling very sorry for himself. Currently burrowed under the duvet by my feet.

When we moved to where we are now it gave Wanda an opportunity to sit on the stairs looking out of a window onto the street/next door's drive and she also barked at our neighbours going in or out of the house or anyone in the street - particularly if they had a dog. It hadn't been possible for her to see anything like this at our previous house. We have put film over that particular window now so it is obscured (like if it was a bathroom window for example) and this has resolved the issue

Had our first puppy class yesterday, followed by a monster walk where we met what felt like every dog in the vicinity. I needed a nap afterwards, let alone her.

She's definitely growing and getting a little calmer, which is welcome. Still has a slightly watery eye, but the vet didn't seem concerned.

Having changed her bed, we now get a whole night's sleep (at least from 11.30-6.30ish), which has helped enormously. It has underlined that I was right to stay child free.

TOO CUTE!

Poor Biscuit has been very subdued. He can be a right PITA but it's horrible to see him like this.
