Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Poor Ralph, what an indignity peeing into a jam jar but ultimately if it helps him recover asap it'll be worth it.

so this morning Ralph had an ultrasound on his kidneys - and we still don't know what's going on.

Vet hasn't seen anything like his kidney before :( next step is another ultrasound at Cambridge Uni vet school with the top expert.
He has blood work and urine results that show major kidney problems - but no clinical signs of kidney damage - this was only spotted after he spent 24 hrs vomiting, but that has cleared up and apart from the limp from his dodgy knee he's back to normal.

I don't know what to think.

the ultrasound looks very abnormal - but not in a way she recognises, is what I meant to say.

Back to the vets next week for Phoebe. We found another lump on her over the weekend. She’s booked in for an op to remove it next Tuesday. That’s 3 lumps in 4 1/2 years.
