Your experience of this game will depend quite a bit on where you live. I'm limited to quite a few out and back routes - especially in the winter - and can only reach about 118 squares (I think) because of farmers' fields, a golf course and a rifle range. But it does encourage you to find every path there is!

I am lucky in that I only have about 4 or 5 truly in accesible zones (either within stadiums or the zoo).
There are another maybe 8-10 that either need a bit of work to get to or running on a golf course.
I also have a quadrant where it is offroad/hilly and so need are out of access in the winter evenings and even in good weather I generally tend to avoid unless I really need them.

Bowman, access limitations are an issue. Nevertheless, anyone who owns 113 squares at the end of the week has won their match, however many the other player has visited. Usually, owning a lot fewer is enough to win.

You can also get quite far in the multiplayer because you tend to run the same routes every day meaning you get ownership of a few squares even though you can't visit loads.

If you have a lot of unvisited paths or new routes to explore, it would help to have a watch you can upload routes to.

Yea I actually have. I use a FR 945, maps and everything.
But I think the screen I to small for my elderly eyes, so I use my phone in some way instead:)

Bowman, yes, what you say will work fine in general.
However, for more info I can recommend starting by reading the Game Guide*, ishep's most pinned post** and my own post entitled RANKING POINTS that is currently the 9th most pinned post (if you really care about ranking points).
Otherwise, ask questions here and someone will answer.
*Game Guide is one of the buttons ("Guide") at the top of most WSW pages.
**All forums have a link at the top to the "most pinned" posts, to the right the "your pins" link, which is also really useful.
