Question about cut off for multiplayer... I see the person in 64th place currently has a score of 109 squares held... But so do the people in 65th an 66th. Will they all go through? How is it decided one is higher than the others?

First will be to see whether anybody 'higher' in the list is taking a break - then look at the top 64 planning to be active for next week. If there's still a tie then all tied players will go forward to the following week - so there could be one or two more than 64 next week. In the early days, somebody likened it to 'making the cut' at a golf tournament. |

That's CA! I had hoped that would be the case, seemed a bit unfair otherwise! 😊 Doesn't seem to be many breaks this week. I went out yesterday for a walk, for the first time in 11 days, and managed to do enough to get me to 60th on the board, a couple more squares this morning and I'm 59th, hoping I go through! 🤞 |

@Fetch, could we get your definitive answer about making the cut in multiplayer. I know it used to be the case that all tied players got through. However you more recently added the tie-breaker of most recent site/page visit for getting into the initial 128. Which is it for getting into the second and subsequent rounds? TVM

Looking forward to the start of my journey back down the rankings to my ‘proper’ place... it’s actually been quite nice this week knowing in advance that I had no chance against CAZ and doing what I felt like, especially as my runs were restricted by work rota!

It looks like I am through in multiplayer and also winning my 1v1 game unless something dramatic happens. As a result I am using the rule that I don’t like and holding this mornings cycle back until after 12 so it counts for next week. As I am doing virtual London on Sunday this week might be tougher for me. I have a strategy that should be enough for multiplayer. However in 1v1 I suspect I will struggle to be competitive. |
