Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

We were going to one of the islands - Mljet. Hoping we might be able to go in the autumn instead.

First plan will be to get back out on the fells and to stop taking them for granted

Next will be to get daughter back to Uni and go see my Mum and our son while we're in the area

Should be a large gathering of the in-laws in Shropshire end July/early August which we haven't given up on just yet

Not thinking much beyond that at present

West Wales to see my elder son and his family, then Lincolnshire to see other son and his family, or vice versa depending.
Then a long holiday in the sun with Mrs DB to celebrate her possible/probable retirement in the last part of the year. Hopefully by then we shall all have been given the all clear or been immunised by vaccination.

I doubt that there will be a widespread available vaccine by then.

I will also be back on the fells as soon as circumstances permit. I live on the edge of the Dales and will be back there ASAP too. Have I ever taken them for granted? I don't think I have really, I miss them, that's for sure.

I'll get out to see my grandsons and daughter in the US. We were supposed to be there now, at the end of a three week visit.
And I need to visit the UK to see my son, I haven't seen him in person since late last year and I'm aching to give him a hug
