That is me, in my pjs, slowly waking up from the dead after my first chemo last week. Rough as hell 😩
But goodness, look at my garden en the wisteria!

Loving the wisteria, and the stained glass window above it Hann.

Thanks ER!
That window brings great joy!
I designed and made it myself.
Two local iconic hills: Sugarloaf and Skirrid, from the path on top of Hatterall Ridge.

My favourite evening MTB ride. Bit of artistic licence pulled the hills closer together.
I have a round window in my new workshop building too, which in due course will get some stained glass too...

Saw 2 swallows when out for my run this morning, first I've seen this year.

Not sure if it's due to a decline in numbers or that there are less overhead telegraph wires, which is where I usually see the swallows

Remembering to check my route before heading off to work this morning and thereby avoiding a 20 minute delay on my normal route. That meant I had plenty of time for a nice relaxed run when I got here.

About This Thread

Maintained by MaT.T
Hanging washing on the line on a warm spring morning brings me so much peace and happiness.

I'm aware that that peace can be found in every moment if we appreciate the conditions that have led to that moment but there are just some things that take us away from the clutter of our minds effortlessly and there is nothing like a meditative moment whilst doing the daily chores.

So what simple things have made you happy and peaceful today? Please share as in the words of Robin Wall Kimme...
