Bought some diced beef on Friday to make a stew yesterday.
Chopped onion, went to fridge to find beef. No beef in fridge.
Still haven't found beef.

I cooked a chilli using lamb mince because I didn’t realise that Mrs D had bought two types of mince and the lamb was the first one I saw.
It was still bloody good.

I don't have any lamb mince chilli.
This wasn't any kind of disaster until I read Dio's post above, but now I'm genuinely quite sad about it.

[We have 3 portions left over Rae. However, you can’t have them because I’m going to eat them all myself.]

I actually prefer lamb mince to beef mince, so I'd have regarded it a disaster if you'd used beef mince Dio

The bottle shelf in the fridge door snapped dropping three cartons of milk on the floor. It didn't make too much mess but I've had to repurpose one of the non-bottle shelves. I just know the next time someone opens the fridge too quickly we'll have milk on the floor again.
I have ordered a new shelf online but they're not back in stock until 8th Feb

[You've reminded me McG that I really must get some new freezer drawers, because they've been duct-taped together for months.]
